Community Partners
We partner with several organizations in the West Houston area on a recurring basis. Sometimes we work in one area of their offerings and sometimes many. If you are interested in working in an area with a Partner and you do not see that option listed-please contact Michelle for assistance.

We collect funds during late summer to provide school uniforms for those students who do not have money to buy them. We also provide volunteers for special events as well as participate in an event once a year to benefit teachers and students.
Making It Better is also affiliated with Walnut Bend Elementary. Through Making It Better we provide volunteers to serve in Reading Intervention and Lunch Bunch on a weekly basis. Service with these programs is for an entire school year and volunteers develop impactful relationships with the same students during the year. We also assist with Family Literacy Nights and other occasional events during the year.

This is a non-profit organization that operates a complex of facilities in Spring Branch to offer a full range of services for abused and homeless women and children. We provide lunch once a month on the first Saturday of the month-Lunch with Friends. We prepare the food on the first Friday and serve it on the first Saturday. We also hold work days to help them around the campus with projects as well as assist with Christmas by providing gifts cards and presents for the residents and toys for the children.

This is a program where a small group of parishioners work with a single person for a year to help them get on their feet, prepared to succeed on their own. We will adopt a person who is aging out of Foster Care. Volunteers are needed to work “on the table” with our friend as well as support people who work behind the scenes.
